Christmas Extravaganza Stamp Camp next weekend

This coming Friday the 20 and Saturday the 21 I have my very special Christmas Stamp Camp at my house in Corona. You are invited to attend this fun event and bring a friend. You will be making lots gift ideas like the the card holder above with 2 cards and envelopes inside, a decorated tin with goodies inside, gift card holder, beautiful snowflake box, Notepad, small wall hanging, gift tags etc. etc. Lots of fun stuff you definately will want to make. Cost for this class is: $19 with a $30 minimum order, or if you are a demonstrator you pay $25. Yummy Christmas food and goodies will be served. Please let me know if you would like to come. It will be held at my house in Corona, address above.

Mini brag book or notebook

This project is from my last Stamp Camp. One of my favorite dies 'The scalloped square" can be used so many ways. You can hardly see it, but the book is hold together with a key ring and I tied lots of ribbons on that. I used the very versatile set " For all you Do" on page 118. The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive. On the front is an "On Board" scallop circle painted white. I got this idea from Kathy Thorn.

Build a Bear - Santa Girl!!!!

This is the Fancy Favor Die filled with a cello bag with candy inside. I taped the Build a Bear Santa Girl on the front of the box. A cute little treat for a friend or co-worker. I got the idea from Eva Kailiponi.

Last Post for tonight

This is my favorite card right now - and many of my customers too. So simple, yet so adorable. The tree is made from 3 scallop circle punch out. Cut 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 scallops and stack them up beginning at the buttom of the tree. Make sure you space them out, unless you want a little fat tree. Sponge each "branch" before putting it together. The tiny pearls I found at Michaels. I used the square scallop Die for the brown card and the Petals a plenty embossing folder - I love both those two items. Don't forget the glitter at the end.

Still from Big Shot Mania Class

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Here is another version of the dresser made with the "Matchbox Die". I also used the Ornament punch and the "Delightful Decoration" stamp set which has been one of my favorites this season. I used the "Merry Moments" Designer paper and the beautiful Polkadot ribbon. Notice how the gift tags are double. That idea came from Sandy Hancock, totally cool idea. Make sure you only cut our white cardstock double, the colored CS is too thick. The design of the tag is snailed on after the tag is cut out.

STAMP CAMP - BIG SHOT MANIA

We had so much fun at my camp last weekend, it was fun just thinking "BIG SHOT". I used so many dies for this camp. For this project I am using the "Bitty Box and Envelope" die and I liked the way it turned out in black and white. A great gift idea. I also used the Petals a plenty embossing folder, the scalloped oval punch, the large oval punch and one of my favorite stamp set "Oval All". Don't you just love the way the basic black striped grosgrain ribbon match with the "Prettiest Kit" Hatpin.

I LOVE SNOWMEN

Here I used the "Two Cool Dudes" stamp set and punched it out with the 2 tag punches and the new snowflake punche. I cut the snowflake punch of the Brocade Blue cardstock and glittered the white. If you use the snail all over behind the snowflake you can just add glitter and it sticks great.

My favorite Stamp Set and punch this Season

I simply adore this "Delightful Decorations" stamp set with the matching punch "Ornament" from the Holiday Mini. I use it all the time in many different ways. Here I put 4 ornament with the punch and folded them into these pretty ornaments. The background is my favorite folder "Petals a plenty". Lots of glitter on the ornaments and the background. I can't have enough of that stuff!!!!!

From my Stamp a Stack Camp

I love the Dasher stamp, you can find it on the last page in the catalog under $10 items. Here it is embossed in white and drizzled with Dazzling Diamond glitter. The "snow" is simply a small piece of white cardstock torn and glittered all over. I used the DP Christmas Cocoa from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the snowflake punch.

Finally back with new postings

I am finally back with new posting from my last Stamp a Stack. I had to take care of my husband who was in the hospital with severe headaches and they found out that he had blood clots on his brain (subdural Hematoma). It was pretty scary for a moment, but with lots of prayers he is out of danger and is home again. He has to take it easy for a while, but is actually doing really good.
We were so lucky and blessed.

Back to the posting. This card was so much fun to make. I cased it from the cover of the Holiday Mini Catalog and used the Sweet Centers Stamp set.

My favorite Christmas Card

I think this is my favorite Christmas Card so far. Everybody loved it at my Stamp Camp this last weekend. It is simple and easy to make and the colors are stunning. I used the new beautiful Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder (a must!!!!!!) on Whisper White cardstock and glittered the inside of the flowers. The stamp set is another favorite "Delightful Decorations" on page 7 in the Holiday Mini Catalog. Just stamp 3 ornaments in Rich Razzleberry ink and punch with the matching new Ornament punch. Make a fold in the middle of the ornament on all three and simply snail them together (stack them on top of each other). The rest is easy.

Big Shot Christmas Tree Die

This card is a little time consuming to make, but so much fun!!!!!! actually when you have made the first tree ..... the second tree is so much easier and faster to make. I really enjoyed making this card and tried in other color combinations too. Follow the instruction that comes with the die when you make the first tree, then you don't need it anymore. The die is in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 29.

Sweet Center Halloween card

This card was fun to make and sweet to get. I used the Sweet Centers stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 6, the Night and Day Designer Paper (love that paper). I stamped the Halloween stamp in Elegant Eggplant ink and used a lot of glitter.

Le Jardin Botanique Stamp Set

Another card with one of my favorite stamp set on page 110. Here the tree is embossed in black and stamped on Old Olive cardstock. Around the tree I sponged the card with Old Olive ink. The back ground is made with the texture plate kit #4 (hard to see on the picture, but very dramatic in real live)

Card from my Stamp Camp

This card is my version of Lee Conrad's beautiful card. I used another stamp set and ribbon, added some glitter and a few punches. If you have not yet tried to make this card you should try, it is easy. Just find the center of each side of the card and then fold it and put the folded card through the crimper. When you unfold the card afte crimping it you have this beautiful back ground. I used the "Le Jardin Botanique" stamp set on page 110 (one of my favorite stamp sets). The cardstock is Vanilla and Soft Suede.

Stocking Box with Build a Bear

This is one of the projects for my Christmas Stamp Camp this next weekend at my house in Corona. You will also be making the Big Wall hanging with the word Merry made with the square Clear Die, the Senif Alphabet set and the Merry Moments Designer Papers. You will be making Fall Holiday cards and a project with the Matchbox Die. You will not be disappointed, lots of cute stuff. Let me know if you would like to come. I have openings for customers and downlines. Check my schedule for details.

Another page of Emily

This page is made with the already made pages in My Digital Studio. The previous page was made all from scratch, I choose the Designer Papers, the ribbon, buttons etc. etc. On this page all I had to do was to copy the pictures into the page.

My Digital Studio

WOW!!! This was so much fun to make my first Digital Scrapbook page. It is so easy and you can use lots of stamps and accessories like Designer Papers, ribbons, brads, buttons, all the punches and alphabet sets. I used pictures of my little granddaughter Emily and it had to be very girly. Now I have to make a boy page with pictures of my grandson Shane. It takes no time to make these cute pages, of course if you "play" around and have to try everything it will take longer, but wow!!! so much easier. I cannot wait till you can order "My Digital Studio" and try it for yourself. It will be available to order October 1. I will keep you posted with new pages. This is too much fun!!!!

Christmas Wall Hanging

I had a very fun day stamping day Yesterday with Katy and Beth at Katy's house in Yorba Linda. We were inspired by a wall hanging Sue Miller made for a baby when we made this fun Christmas Wall Hanging. I put a picture of my 2 grandkids on one of the squares but you can do whatever, it could be a greeting or a picture of your dog. This will be my make and take at Kathy Thorns downline meeting on September 11 at Sizzlers. If you have not yet signed up for the meeting you can still come, but let me know ASAP to secure your make and take. You will now pay $20 for the meeting (late sign up fee). I might have this as one of my projects at one of my Christmas Stamp Camps.

Teddy and Train - baby cute!!!

Definately a "Bundle of Joy" set of stamps on page 77. Very easy to work with and soooo cute. I watercolored the bear with the blenderpen directly to the chocolate chip inkpad and cut the bear out.

Have you tried to case directly from the catalog??

Sometimes we think we have to come up with these amazing designs .....don't get me wrong that is actually amazing when that happens!!!, but have you tried to simply copy a card from the catalog and use it in your workshops. It works!!! take this card for example, very cute and almost like the one on page 63. Try it, it also makes your customers try it. Stampin'Up! does have amazing designers help us in our business.

Flower pot card

I have seen these kind of cards in so many versions and now I cannot remember where and who did it in the first place. I think I saw it on Patty's blog last. Anyway I cut the flower pot out of To the Nines Specialty paper and used all the flowers from the Embosslits Dies, page 195. Very fun card to make. Also fun to use the 5-petal flower punch.

Last card from camp

This is the 10th card from my stamp camp. I love cupcakes, so I just had to have this die set. It is on page 197, part of the sizzlits 4-pack dies. After cutting the cup I ran it though the Finial Embossing folder.

Butterflies

On this card I used the Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder from page 195 and one of my favorite stamp set :"Great Friend" on page 107. I used Dazzling Diamond glitter in the center of the flowers and on the butterflies, it might be hard to see it, but it is Dazzling...... and of course I used the Crushed Curry Polka-dot ribbon ...... just love those ribbons ..... can't get enough of them.

Stamp Camp

This is a fun card to make. You use the Flower Folds Big Shot die from page 201 for the flowers and the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Papers. The card is made out of 2 pieces of cardstock, I used Sahara Sand and Rich Razzleberry. The dimentionals are: 8 1/2x4 1/4 (score at 5", and the second piece is 6x3 (score at 1 1/2).
This stamp set is one of Shelli's signature Collection and no wonder. I love it too. It is an easy set to use for collage cards like this one. You can find it on page 100. It is stamped in Old Olive and Eggplant Envy and the ink is "opened up" with the blender pen, no ink is added to the blender pen. It is the easies way to do watercoloring. The bird is cut out and mounted on the card. The size of the card is 3x6.

More postings from my Stamp Camp

With this card I was inspired by Carol Gonzales, I just changed a few things. The stamp set is On a Pedestal on page 71. I used the Finial Press embossing folder on the Melon Mambo cardstock. I am so loving the embossing folders and wish we had more.

My Stamp Camp this weekend

This card is one of the 10 different cards for my stamp camp this weekend at my house in Corona. I actually designed it during one of the classes at Convention. I used the Scallop Square Die for the card. When you place the folded card right before the cutting edge on top you will get a pretty scalloped folded card. I love those kind of cards. I used the new "Things I Love" stamp set (page 54) we got at Convention. Totally things I love myself - and who doesn't. I also used the new adorable polkadot Melon Mambo ribbon, page 182.

Fabric flowers

I showed how to make these adorable fabric flowers with the Stampin'Up! Flower Folds Die, you just gotta try them, so much fun.

No. 3 was a tie

No. 3 was a tie between Sharon Rivera with the pumpkin made out of orange slices and Laurie with the Season of Friendship card.

Card contest winner #2

No. 2 was Madeline Mcphail with her purse. Inside it holds your business card or a gift card. Very cute and easy to give out as a gift.

Downline Meeting - card contest

This was our winner card from our meeting last Saturday. The card was designed by Beth Lovcik, my upline. She was very excited to be the winner.

Sneak Peak Preview of Build a Bear Project

I played with my new Build a Bear dies tonight making some samples for my downline meeting tomorrow. We could buy these fun tins at convention and I made it into a gift idea. Inside the tin is a bunch of bears cut out and lots of clothes to dress them up. You can use all your scraps of Designer Papers for these projects, so much fun. The Dies will be available on September 1 from the Holiday Mini Catalog. A great birthday gift for any age.

More convnetion stuff

We made this card at Janet Bakers get-together at Convention, I am not sure who designed it but it is very cute, it is made with "On a Pedestal" stamp set on page 71. You use the word window punch to make the slids for the bookmark. We used the new Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip cardstock.

Medallion Bagground Stamp

WOW!!! this is about the best stamp ever. It is bold and beautiful and you can use it so may different ways. It is on page 133 in the catalog and I used one of my favorite new in-colors "Soft Suede", I did not think I would love this color as much as I do. It is amazing to match with other colors and is striken just with Vanilla like here. Click here to go to the catalog page.

Big Shot Flower card

This card we made at my upline Margaret Goodfellows house Tuesday night before Convention. We had a wonderful time stamping till 5am (my motto is: You can always sleep when you get old). This card was designed by Jennifer Goodfellow. We used the new Dusty Durango, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Always Artichoke and the Daisies Flower #2 Die.

Make and take at Convention

Build a Bear

Stampin'Up! has partnered with Build a Bear and the result is fabulous. I had a chance to play with the Dies, Designer Papers etc. at Convention. These fun items are going to be available on September 1. You can find them in the new Holiday Mini Catalog which should be here soon.

Fabric Flowers with Big Shot

Shelli showed us on stage at Convention how to make these adorable flowers out of fabric. I am so going to make some for myself. You need the new Flower Folds Die cut from page 201, click here to go to the catalog. I counted about 12 layers of flowers for each. You can use these as decoration on a jacket or cardigan or on a belt or handbag.
I really like these punch cards, I am not sure who designed this, but it is very cute. The background on this card is done with Texture Plates.

CONVENTION PICS

Totally adorable card I got as a swap, it is all made with punches by Irene Poe.

BEAUTIFUL WATERCOLOR

I don't know who came up with the idea of watercolor these flowers in the first place, but I first saw them on Patty Bennetts blog and totally fell in love with them. I have tried in many different color combinations and love them all. On this card I used 3 different pink colors and the card is cut with the Scallop Circle Die. This is my favorite card. It was one of the projects from my last Stamp Camp. (check my website for Fall classes at my house - next is scheduled for August 21 and 22 - Stamp a Stack).

One of my Convention Swaps
Still love the Manhatten Flower Set, and it was so much fun to try to make this card in different color combinations. When you use 12x12 cardstock you can get 4 cards out of one sheet. I cut 2 cards at a time with the Top Note Die. I used Razzleberry Lemonade, Thoroughly Modern and Bashful Blue DS papers. You can cut at least 6 sheets at a time then cut them right in the middle

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

Just got my order today and I just had to play with the Fancy Favor Box Die. WOW!!! I just love it. I cut it out of Chocolate Chip Cardstock and used Thoroughly Modern DS paper and the "For All you Do stamp set and of course the beautiful Vanilla Hofgepodge Hardware.

Through the month of August you can sign up to be a Stampin'Up! Demonstrator for only $85. Click on my website and you can read all about the details for this great offer. If you have been a demonstrator before and had to drop out, this is a great way to get back into it again for less. Feel free to contact me any time if you have questions about this.

I was not sure about the new In-Colors when I first saw them in Hawaii, but WOW!!!! working with them made the whole difference for me. The Soft Suede works great with all the new colors and especially with the Bermuda Bay like on this card. The stamp set is the new Razzle Dazzle on page 94.
